Its been completed in an lovely grey authentic chalk paint which is complemented by the distressed look and the rich silvery blue upholstery. The tables measures 3ft3" wide x 5ft6" long extendable to 7ft and is 30" high. The base does remove for transportation. As with all our items it will be wrapped in bubble wrap and shrink wrap to ensure it reaches you in prestige condition. The table has been very carefully hand sanded to the removing the old finish and exposing the lovely grain then has been waxed in a lovely rustic stain. The top has an lovely shaped solid oak edge that really enriches the look. The base has been painted firstly with a white primer followed by 3 layers of authentic chalk paint. The colour of the table is a fabulous grey . It has finally been distressed and finished off with 2 layers of clear wax for protection. The chairs have been sanded down to the natural wood removing the old varnish and stain. The chairs have been professionally reupholstered in a gorgeous silvery blue fabric that gives the set a very elegant feel. The chairs have again been firstly painted with a white primer, after 3 layers of authentic chalk paint have been applied which is finally sealed with 2 layers of clear wax giving a soft touch finish. The chairs have beautiful French Louis style legs and lovely shaped backs that really make these chairs stand out. Chairs are complete with matching fabric hearts. No expense has been spared doing this piece, a lot of time and effort has gone into it which is evident in the result. It hasn't just been quickly keyed and painted in cheap white paint, it has been fully dismantled and done correctly using only the best products and a 2 stage paint process. It really has to been seen to be appreciated. With this item being solid wood it will retain value and last a life time and would make a great addition and focal point to any home.
